| Mr. Wenderoff, a partner at Weston Herzog, leads the firm’s workers’ compensation defense practice group. He is a graduate of George Washington University and received his Juris Doctorate degree from California Western School of Law in 1982. Mr. Wenderoff has been an attorney since 1984 and is a member of both the California and New York State Bar Associations. He is also a member of the California Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorneys Association. Mr. Wenderoff has extensive experience defending self-insured employers, insurance carriers and adjusting agencies before Workers’ Compensation Appeals Boards throughout California. He also has substantial experience in subrogation matters. He handles cases from initial file review and analysis through settlement/trial and subsequent lien negotiations. His proactive and pragmatic approach to litigating workers’ compensation cases has earned him a reputation for closing files quickly, keeping costs to a minimum. He also serves as national coordinating counsel for several Fortune 500 clients, providing oversight of workers’ compensation matters in the western United States. In addition to his vast experience in the defense of workers’ compensation claims, Mr. Wenderoff has extensive experience in contractual matters, including commercial and residential real estate. In New York, he owned a mid-size business, giving him first-hand knowledge from the employer’s point of view regarding workers’ compensation claims and their fiscal impact. |
